This is a timed bike race; each rider will be clocked at both the start and the finish. After racers finish, join us at Thomas Jefferson Park at the race start for a Healthy Living Fair, it’s free for all. Featuring community tabling, arts and crafts, yard games, and more! Note: Please bring your own bike and all racers must wear a helmet. We have a limited supply of bikes available for 7–12-year-olds on a first-come, first-served basis.Competition will start at 10:00 am. Last racer will go at 1pm.Starting and End Location : Thomas Jefferson Park, by the foot bridge Ages : 7-years+. Youth racers must register and be able to ride a two - wheel bike.PARTICIPANT WAIVER This Agreement establishes the rights and liabilities regarding you and/or your child’s participation in the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park hosted by Concrete Safaris (Concrete Safaris and its directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns defined as “CS”). By signing below, you represent that you have the legal authority to submit to this Agreement on behalf of you and/or the child registered for the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park and acknowledge that you and/or your child’s participation in the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park involves potential risks to you and/or your child and that you are voluntarily permitting yourself and/or your child to participate. In particular, you acknowledge that COVID-19 is extremely contagious and that even with the use of protective equipment, social distancing, and other protective measures you and/or your child may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 during the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park. In consideration for you and/or your child’s participation in the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park, you and your child hereby release and hold harmless CS and NYC from all claims or losses related to you and/or your child’s participation in the Pedal Pusher Pursuit at Jefferson Park (the “Release”). The Release is binding upon all of your heirs, executors, and representatives and upon CS’s and NYC's successors and assigns and is not assignable without the prior written consent of CS and NYC. You confirm that you have read this agreement and understand its terms, and have signed freely, voluntarily, and under no duress or threat of duress, that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you are mentally competent to enter into this Agreement. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of New York.By registering for this event, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to this waiver.
