CS Explorers learned about the winter wilderness survival skills of Prospect Park’s animals from NYC Park Ranger, Marissa. We also visited the Grand Army Plaza GreenMarket where the kids learned about different kinds of farms and tasted yummy apples, meat, and breads. CS Explorers dropped off their old pillow cases at the Textile Recycling Station and drank delicious hot chocolate to keep warm. Brrrr…. Here are some photos of local habitats as seen by the kids.

By Subway: Take the 6 train to 96th St. Exit near intersection of East 96th St. and Lexington Avenue. Walk North on Lexington Avenue to East 97th St. Turn Right at East 98th St. Walk to East side of Third Avenue.
General: 1775 Third Avenue is diagonal from the 98th Street and Third Avenue Street signs on the East side of Third Avenue. The building is just behind the parking lot and not directly on the street. You will see a flagpole and courtyard just before the building.
